The #NationScholarship challenge offers access to funding opportunities for education. Our goal is to help young people in Kenya reach their career aspirations and higher education goals.

The challenge is completely free.

The #NationScholarship challenge runs from September 1 – 30, 2023.

All participants will also benefit from Goodwall’s current and future activities, such as programs and weekly challenges.

The winner will benefit from a KSh 80,000 scholarship to achieve their educational goals.

One winner of the #NationScholarship challenge will be selected by our community team on the basis of quality, insightfulness and creativity of their submission. They will be announced on or about September 30, 2023. 

Please Note: Prior to receiving the prize, you’ll need to provide evidence of enrollment or tuition fees, whichever is available. As soon as you provide the necessary proof, we will proceed with the money transfer. Once you’ve enrolled, we’ll follow up with you. 

The #NationScholarship winner will be announced on the Goodwall app after the challenge ends.

Start by downloading the Goodwall app (available for iOS and Android). Once you have set up your Goodwall profile, upload your entry as a video (up to 2 min long) or photo and tag #NationScholarship.

You can also participate on your computer if you are unable to download the app.

Yes, you are welcome to participate at any point during the challenge.

We welcome participants from Kenya, whether they’re currently high school, college, or graduate students, or even those  planning to enroll in an educational program within the next 12 months.

#NationScholarship extends its support to a diverse range of educational institutions that cater to the educational aspirations of young people in Kenya. These eligible institutions include:

• • Universities: Renowned higher education establishments offering undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
  • Colleges: Accredited colleges providing a variety of academic and vocational courses.
  • Training Institutions: Reputable organizations specializing in offering training and skill development programs.

A Goodwall Community Manager will contact you soon after winning.

The Nation Media Group will remit payments directly to eligible educational institutions, encompassing not only universities but also colleges and various other accredited training establishments.

Please Note: Prior to receiving the prize, you’ll need to provide evidence of enrollment or tuition fees, whichever is available. As soon as you provide the necessary proof, The Nation Media Group will process your award and remit the payment directly to the institution, in the USD equivalent to KSh 80,000.
